The witch of Halloween Night

It was the night of Halloween and I was at the graveyard visiting my grandma. A witch came out of the bushes. She said “Get out of the graveyard or I will kill you.” So I ran out of the graveyard very quickly!! I wondered who the witch was and where she came from. So I tried to solve this mystery but I couldn’t. My night was very very hard and frustrating because I had to figure out who the witch was. We went to Woodbine to go Trick-or-Treating and I saw the WITCH AGAIN! I was almost done Trick-or-Treating and when I was heading to Laney’s house I saw the witch through her window!!! She was taking off her mask so I saw her FACE!! It was so awkward because she looked familiar,OMG it was my BFF Sophia she was the witch all along I am going to sneak up on her and scream “it was you the whole time OMG I am going to chase you around the city, and if you don’t run I will catch up to you and tackle you!!!!!!” So I never caught Sophia but it was really fun,see you next time BYE!!!

Jamestown or Plymouth

I’d honestly choose Plymouth because the Pilgrims were male and female instead of just male. Another reason why I would choose Plymouth is because in 1620 Pilgrims arrived in Plymouth, near Cape Cod,seeking freedom to worship. Plymouth also grew. So I guess that means we had more people!! The Pilgrims had no official Charter, but the Virginians did. Plymouth and Jamestown were the first two permanent English settlements. Both Jamestown and Plymouth suffered greatly in their first few years in North America. So that whole thing is why I would rather live in Plymouth then Jamestown!!!!!

Homecoming

Homecoming is a celebration where we celebrate our football team! It is supposed to be a day where you celebrate and have fun but some people didn’t. What I did at homecoming was eat pickle pops, hang out with Gentry, beg my sister for money so I could buy a cold Dr.Pepper, and run around like a tiny monkey! I hardly even watched the football game but it was pretty fun running around. I waited so long for Sophia and her parents to get there but it took them a while! I also waited for Taylor and Sophie to get there so we could hang out while I was also waiting for Sophia!! Sophia finally got there and we hung out but then she ran off without me and I couldn’t find her!(I was terrified she got kidnapped). Then her mom said “Lauryn have you seen Sophia?” I said “NO she ran off without me and now I can’t find her!” All of a sudden I saw Sophia and she said “Lauryn I have been looking all over for you” then we hugged and never left each others side until…Gentry came and said to me “Lauryn I need your help” after Gentry said that Sophia left again and played with Bayla! Me and Sophia found each other again and Sophia said “Lauryn the reason I am not hanging out with you as much is because you are always hanging out with Gentry,Taylor, and Sophie all the time.” Then I said “because you are ALWAYS hanging out with Bayla!” Then she finished it off and said “I am sorry for leaving without you!” And I said “it’s okay let’s hang out for the rest of the time!” but we never hung out after that and our friendship got unstable a little but we are still bffs! That is basically how my day at Homecoming went!! THE END!!!

9-11 Refection

I learned alot about 9-11-01. It was a tragic day for a lot of people. A lot of people died and were seriously injured. The first plane that took off left from New York. It turns out there were terrorist on the flight. The terrorist had guns, knives, and etc. The terrorist killed the flight attendants and rerouted the first plane towards one of the twin towers. So all the planes that took off got hijacked and crashed into (The Twin Towers,Pentagon, and the empty field in Pennsylvania). The passengers on the plane that crashed into the empty field were called heroes for saving hundreds of people by (pouring hot coffee on the terrorist, rolling food carts into the terrorist, and etc. They stopped that plane from flying into another building. They are 9-11 heroes. (p.s. none of them survived the crash in the empty field). And we still honor them this coming day as 9-11 heroes.

Cross Plants Pumpkin Patch

I went to Cross Plants Pumpkin Patch and there was this huge, big, red, barn. It was a windy day and I saw so many orange pumpkins. It was October so it was cold and kinda warm (ish). The grass was green and wet. It was very very fun, I loved it!!

Life in 5th Grade

On the first day of fifth grade I was really nervous I thought all the teachers were gonna be strict but after a few weeks I realized they can be.There’s a lot of new things that I have to get used to this year such as:recess is shorter,we have five classes instead of three, the teachers expect more from us and I agree. Some of us grew up over the summer but a few of us didn’t.My favorite and best subject is math.Math is way easier than Social Studies in my opinion!Science is easier then I thought it would be and I love the Nature Center(except for the bugs)!Reading is my 2nd favorite subject because I love reading!Another change for me is that I am not used to waiting this long for lunch(maybe I should start eating breakfast)!Mrs.McFall is my homeroom teacher, she can be strict but he is awesome so far.I have made even more friends than I did last year.My favorite thing in school is the after school clubs, the football games, and etc.I am in school to learn and succeed in life and that is what I am gonna acommplish this year. So that is so far my life in fifth grade.
